DANCEHALL REGGAE FUSED WIT POSITIVE HIPHOP

influenced by the hardtimes we go through day to day and the drive inside to keep striving for better.

described as revolutionary warrior music on one side an mellow vibe grooves on the other. Mista Chief always brings a consious message in his lyrics, be it on stage or in the studio or just freestyling with friends.

Mista Chief is, an always will be a positive roll model for the struggling youth of our day and also a refreshment to the elders observing.

Mista Chief offers up a rightious mix of dancehall reggae fused with positive hip hop, influenced by Native American Culture. singing songs with messages such as "look to da future youth mon inna dis tribal revolution, we must find solution", and "dont give up! when it gets tough! just live up! move forward in the ways of your vision". Chief likes to think of himself as a bridge between cultures, a link between many worlds. Chief was raised by his irish rastafarian mother(dj sista mona lisa) in southern oregon and grew up in a family commUNITY called Takilma, there he studied the teachings of his northern cheyenne ancestors, while learning how to appreciate mother nature to the fullest by tending to the land an cultivating its fruits. he likes to apply these life lessons to his music by promoting a healthy lifeSTYLE and UPfull vibes. Mista Chief is on the rise, and throughout the last year, has been climbing up the ladder as a blazing hot new artist! opening up for acts such as Richie Spice, Chuck fenda, I-Wayne, Jah Sun, Junior Toots, Irae devine, Norris Man, Messenjah Selah, and L.A's hiphop group The Ateam(Abstract Rude&Aceyalone of project blowed). as well as sharing the stage with a whole heap of "well known" local artist! to name a few- The Oneironauts, Marko, Alcyon Massive, Indubious, Sol Seed, Frankie Hernandez, The Illies, One Movement, Synergy and State of Jefferson. making a name for him self, Mista Chief looks as if he'll be around for awhile. he is in the process of releasing his debut album titled "NATION2NATION". look for it coming your way soon. ~blessed love~
