Creating the World You Want to Live In

We shape the cannabis industry, let's do it consciously. The state-by-state legal patchwork means that small farmers and entrepreneurs play a huge role in defining the industry while big corporations are kept at bay by federal law. When cannabis is de-scheduled in 5-10 years, what will the industry look like? How do we shape it now so that small companies and brands survive corporate competition? Through strategy, marketing and branding we can out-compete the big corporations by defining the game before they even arrive.

Embedded Energy in Indoor Cannabis

Have you ever wondered about the carbon footprint of that pre-roll you smoked? This presentation takes a look at the embedded energy values associated with indoor cannabis cultivation. Particular attention is paid to lighting, but other factors such as cooling, processing, transportation , packaging, and resale are also considered. Join Cannergy Design's Jerry Samaniego for this informative discussion and learn about how you can grow a little greener.

Corey Scott
Who do you trust?
Saturday 1:00 PM
Green Stage

The story of our financial success depends on who we trust. Cannabis entrepreneurship is an ideal tool to achieve many of those successes. However, there is a lot of mistrust in the industry regarding cannabis (see banking and scheduling) that hinders many of the potential relationships from occurring in this industry. I want to demonstrate the connection between trust and financial success, as well as show people the tangible results from employing strategic techniques that lead to industry growth.

Mahalath Wealthy
Chemical free pest solution & increase your yield.
Saturday 1:30 PM
Purple Stage

The Kangen Queens will be educating on how spraying 2.5 Strong Acidic Kangen Water on cannabis plants in any phase of the growth cycle kills & prevents russet mites, mold, and powdery mildew. You will learn how making compost tea with Kangen Water allows your plants to absorb more nutrients & oxygen therefore increasing your yield. They will also show you how Kangen Water is hands down the least expensive, non-toxic option on the market that will lower your overall operating budget and increase your profits.

In addition to the cannabis benefits the Kangen Queens will be sharing the many health benefits of drinking electrolyzed water. Kangen’s drinking water addresses the 3 main health issues of our culture today ~ acidity, free radicals and dehydration.

Dave Neketin
Cooling, Humidity, Airflow and What Does Not Work
Saturday 2:30 PM
Purple Stage

Using traditional air conditioning is the wrong tool for the job. Plants transpire a tremendous amount moisture back into the room. This makes maintaining a stable humidity level difficult, especially relative to the correct temperature required to assure proper growth.

Dave will talk about legacy equipment and half measures being used to address the complex demands of today’s closed rooms. He will talk about alternate HVAC technologies like chillers, inverters, indirect evaporative and wet side economizers. He will also talk about proper airflow and why the high static systems commonly being used to mix air inside the room are inefficient and inadequate for the best yield.

Dave will also discuss a leading edge technology derived from the data center industry that is being adapted to the cannabis industry. This technology gives the user the ability to control humidity independently from temperature.

There will also be time for Q & A

Santo Bonelli
Humidity Control Essentials for a Healthier Garden
Sunday 1:30 PM
Purple Stage

Join Santo Bonelli of Quest Dehumidifiers, an industry leader in indoor garden and greenhouse dehumidification, in a discussion about the essentials of humidity control within your indoor garden. Dehumidification is an integral part of maintaining a healthy garden environment and plants. Keeping garden humidity in check mitigates and can even prevent pest and pathogen outbreaks, such as powdery mildew. Using a dehumidifier as part of a garden's IPM program will reduce pesticide use and help produce healthier products.

When not in a preventative mode maintaining proper humidity leads to better transpiration rates, facilitates co2 and nutrient uptake, and increases the longevity of equipment such as carbon filters.

Santo will elaborate on what sets Quest dehumidifiers apart from their competition. Quest prides themselves on offering high quality, highly efficient, AHAM rated (80*F, 60%RH) built in USA (Madison, WI) Dehumidifiers. Quest offers several sizes of commercial stand alone plug and play dehumidifiers for the grower's garden needs. Sizing a well sealed indoor garden or greenhouse is typically very straight forward. Given a few pieces of info a Quest rep can help you size your garden and get you to better humidity management.

Following his presentation Santo will open the floor for a Q&A session about all your humidity questions. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from an industry leader about the importance of Relative Humidity in your Garden!
